Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and food safety guidelines.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, manage kitchen operations, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, order equipment, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, initiative, organized, team player, and time management.
