Position Details

This long-term assignment is available for an Art Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Arts 0.2/PTM 0.6 (rotation between CTK FOS) and will work 0.8 FTE. The schedule will be as per contract.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in art education and be able to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. They will also be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the qualifications outlined in the Education Act and Regulations. Priority will be given to unplaced, qualified redundant teacher applicants from the Elementary Teacher bargaining in order of seniority. In the event the assignment remains unfilled, qualified applications from the Occasional Roster will be considered.

We encourage applications from all certified teacher applicants as well as education students holding, or who have applied for, a Temporary Certificate of Registration and Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers.
