The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring that our hotel, motel, and resort facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Infection Control Procedures: Develop and implement effective infection control procedures to prevent the spread of illness and infection in our facilities.
  • Procurement and Inventory Management: Source and purchase equipment and supplies necessary for the housekeeping department, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Area Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Supervision and Performance Management: Supervise and train housekeeping staff, and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure that they are meeting expectations.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure that our facilities comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, and maintain accurate records of compliance.
  • Guest Relations: Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints and concerns, and work to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and team collaboration.
