Key Responsibilities- Implement Infection Control Procedures: Develop and implement operational procedures to prevent infection in special situations and outbreaks, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
- Supply Chain Management: Select and purchase equipment and supplies necessary for the efficient operation of the housekeeping department.
- Area Inspections: Coordinate regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, maintaining a high level of quality in all aspects of housekeeping operations.
- Maintenance and Repair: Supervise and coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
- Performance Evaluations: Conduct regular performance evaluations and appraisals of housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting expectations and providing excellent service.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms, ensuring that all necessary items are available when needed.
- Scheduling and Staff Management: Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, maintaining a high level of compliance and avoiding any potential risks.
- Guest Relations: Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the satisfaction of our guests.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
