Tax Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, International Taxation to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our International Tax and Transfer Pricing team, you will be responsible for providing specialized advice on a broad range of international income tax matters.
The successful candidate will lead and manage tax planning matters pertaining to international cross-border transactions, identify and analyze international tax considerations of proposed transactions, and assess and quantify risks. You will also develop relationships and partnerships with stakeholders at all levels within CIBC to effectively manage the delivery of tax services.
To be successful in this role, you will have a CPA designation or a Bachelor of Laws degree and at least 5 years of tax experience. Having exposure to the financial services industry would be an asset, but consideration will be given to candidates who have a strong interest and desire to learn the financial services business.
