Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at 11215167 CANADA INC. As an Executive Chef Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in food preparation, kitchen management, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

* Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations
* Supervise and train kitchen staff in food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures
* Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory records
* Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, sales, and wastage
* Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

Requirements:

* College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
* Will train
* 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Setting:

* Restaurant

Tasks:

* Requisition food and kitchen supplies
* Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
* Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
* Prepare and submit reports
* Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
* Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
* Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

Supervision:

* 1 to 2 people

* 30 to 44 hours per week
