Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodle. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dishroom and food preparation areas.
Key Responsibilities- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are clean and sanitized.
- Scour pots and pans to maintain their condition and prevent damage.
- Keep accurate records of food quantities used, helping us to manage inventory and reduce waste.
- Package take-out food for our customers, ensuring it is presented attractively and safely.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, following proper food safety protocols.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, ensuring the kitchen remains clean and hygienic.
- Sharpen kitchen knives to maintain their effectiveness and prevent accidents.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing them for cooking and presentation.
- Will train on the job, so no prior experience is necessary.
- Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English is required, as you will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
