Job Title: Wholesale Buyer

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at A2Z cash 'n' Carry. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring quality and competitive pricing.
  • Supervise the work of other buyers and provide guidance on procurement procedures.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. The language of work is English. The job involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes, making it a green job.
