Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at A2Z cash 'n' Carry. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and credit terms, and ensuring adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a network of reliable suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of merchandise.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to optimize purchasing costs.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Review sales data and market trends to determine product requirements and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of purchasing activities.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • Minimum 7 months of experience in a purchasing or supply chain role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask effectively.
