Food Service Manager

Join the 2 For 1 Family Pizza team as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, providing a positive experience for our guests.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure the efficient operation of our food service operations.
- Persons with Disabilities: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster, providing them with opportunities for employment and integration.
- Youth: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Veterans: Assist with the immediate transition needs of veterans, including relocation and housing support.
- Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
Work Environment: Our kitchen is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our food service operations.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and management.
