In this role, you will:

  • Design and develop intricate machine models and engineering drawings, contributing to the advancement of our product lines.
  • Utilize SolidWorks to create and refine part models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of engineering documentation and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Serve as a vital link between Engineering and Production, facilitating seamless operations.
  • Proactively address engineering and production challenges as they arise.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in designing machinery within the manufacturing industry.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles; experience in the packaging or corrugated industry is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize motion sequences and understand pneumatic component sizing.
  • A curious, innovative, and detail-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn and expand your skillset.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks; certification is preferred.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a comprehensive understanding of BOMs, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Engineering Change Control processes.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada; sponsorship is not provided.
