Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Raja Road Rail Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest level of safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Bill of lading
  • Driver logbook
  • Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
  • Maintenance and repair reports
  • Trans-border documentation
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, often working long hours and traveling across various locations. You must be willing to travel cross-border, internationally, and overnight.
