About the Role:
The Child, Youth and Family Addiction and Mental Health Clinic is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work with children, youth, and families to provide evidence-informed and best-practice interventions in a trauma-informed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to children, youth, and families
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families
- Work with community partners and child advocacy centers to provide consultation and therapeutic direction
- Develop and implement psychoeducational programs and skill-building activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing
- Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college
- Experience working with children, youth, and families in a mental health setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
