Job Title: Grocery Clerk Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Grocery Clerk Supervisor to join our team at Iga marché Poulin. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our grocery store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our grocery clerks, ensuring that they are meeting their sales and customer service targets.
  • Manage the inventory of our store, including ordering merchandise and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and clean store environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or grocery store environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and control procedures.
