Grocery Store Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team at Giant Tiger in Tigre Valleyfield. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales floor team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Accurately process customer transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
- Restock merchandise, maintain visual merchandising standards, and ensure a clean and organized store environment.
- Support the sales floor team, including assisting with sales floor tasks, maintaining inventory levels, and performing cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, including health and safety protocols, loss prevention procedures, and tobacco and lottery sales regulations.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
