We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arborist to join our team at Arborwood Tree Service.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to tree care, including pruning, planting, and removing trees. They will also be required to operate heavy machinery and equipment, such as chainsaws and chippers.
Responsibilities:- Perform tree pruning, planting, and removal services
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment, such as chainsaws and chippers
- Conduct site assessments to determine tree health and identify potential hazards
- Develop and implement tree care plans to ensure the health and safety of trees
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in arboriculture or a related field
- International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification
- Arboriculturists Trade Certification
- Valid driver's licence
- Eligible for professional liability insurance
- Criminal record check
The successful candidate will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather. They will also be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
