Job Title: Staffing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Canada Inc. in Anglais.

Job Summary:

The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, providing information and services to employees, and preparing and posting notices and advertisements. This role will also involve collecting and screening applicants, advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, and reviewing candidate inventories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  • Provide information or services, such as employee assistance and counselling
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements
  • Collect and screen applicants
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Review candidate inventories
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
  • Recruit and hire staff
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Basic security clearance
  • Own transportation
  • Willing to travel
