Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At AMAZING BAKERY, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy bakery.
  • Supervise Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to our staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor at AMAZING BAKERY, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
