Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Ontario Inc. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Food Preparation: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, prepare food order summaries for the chef, and supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, including 1 to 2 people or 3-4 people, in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
