About the Role

The Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA is seeking a skilled Corporate Banking Analyst to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Operations Department, you will play a critical role in delivering day-to-day services to our investment and corporate bank units and their clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Settle fixed income, equity, and option products in the US and Global markets
  • Reconcile cash positions and stock records between custodian/clearing agents/banks and in-house systems
  • Reconcile all suspense and control accounts
  • Develop and maintain KPI/KRI reports with detailed root cause and resolution analysis
  • Collaborate with counterparts to resolve breaks and fails
  • Work flexible hours between 8:00am and 7:00pm, with occasional overtime and late shifts
Requirements
  • Proficiency in clearing and settlements tools and systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Canadian Regulatory/Compliance experience
  • Knowledge of broker/dealer operations
  • Experience documenting front-to-back systems flows
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, or related field)
  • 3-7 years related experience
  • Understanding of trade flow and products for fixed income, equities, and options
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
