About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Developer Intern to join our team at CAE Inc. This is an excellent opportunity for students in computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering to gain hands-on experience in developing creative and efficient solutions that enhance the client and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop or enhance scripts, applications, and databases to optimize the work environment and ensure the smooth functioning and performance of web servers.
  • Model or update databases to meet business requirements.
Requirements
  • Student in computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering.
  • Experience and working knowledge of HTML/CSS, C# (.NET Core 2.NET 2.0+), JQuery, JavaScript, SQL, Microsoft MVC architecture, Bootstrap.
  • Result-oriented, strong planning, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, Windows Server up to 2016 with IIS is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Unit Testing, and Test-Driven Development and Microsoft Webservices (REST, WCF & ASMX).
  • Ability to modify code written by other programmers and update databases.
  • Bilingualism in both French and English is required.
Preferred Education
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or computer science.
