Business Intelligence Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at https://www.pcrecruiter.net/sitemap. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in helping our clients transform their operational data into actionable information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate client business requirements into workable technical solutions.
  • Provide billable consulting support to achieve account objectives and production success.
  • Complete all levels of application testing and QA.
  • Prepare all required documentation (specifications, design, system, training, user).
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge in industry business and technology solutions, through self-motivated approach to continuous learning.
  • Provide presentations, internally and/or with clients, as required.
  • Mentor other consultants as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years BI technical experience.
  • Very strong data architecture, data modeling, data mining skills.
  • Data Warehouse/Mart knowledge and experience is preferred.
  • Strong Java skills for integration and customizations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with databases including one or more: Oracle, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, Informix, Sybase.
  • Windows and Unix experience.
  • Client server and web-based environments.
  • Connectivity issues, infrastructure, and protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Consulting experience with external clients, in competitive situations.
  • ETL software experience.
  • Experience with BI products and tools.
