Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, establish methods to meet work schedules, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Food Preparation and Control: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, prepare budget and cost estimates, and ensure that food is prepared to meet quality standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Management: Hire food service staff, provide on-the-job training, and ensure that staff are aware of the establishment's culinary genres.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of food preparation and sales.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
