We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing professional, skilled psychosocial assessment and interventions to individuals, families, and groups.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychosocial assessments and interventions to clients, families, and groups
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address clients' needs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to clients and their families
- Participate in team planning and problem-solving
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) from a Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE) accredited school/faculty
- Registration with the Manitoba College of Social Workers
- Valid Manitoba driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training
- Two years recent and relevant experience
- Ability to work cooperatively with other disciplines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to new concepts and techniques
May encounter aggressive and/or agitated clients/visitors/staff
May be exposed to infectious diseases, blood, and body fluids, toxic materials, noise, allergens, physical and emotional stress
May be occasionally required to work extended hours
May be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
