About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technical Officer to join our team at BBA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our engineering practices and technological systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Technology Strategy: Collaborate with senior executives to align technology initiatives with overall business objectives and develop a comprehensive technology strategy to enhance service delivery, client satisfaction, and business performance.
  • Lead Practice Standards and Innovation: Develop, implement, and continually improve practice standards to boost efficiency, innovation, and quality, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within our teams.
  • Manage Quality Systems and Training: Establish and manage quality systems, internal and external training programs, and collaborate with other senior executives to align best practice goals with overall business objectives.
  • Drive Business Performance and Growth: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of initiatives, report on progress and outcomes to the executive team and board of directors, and lead the adoption of new technologies and methods.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical program; D. would be a strong asset, and proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing management and operational technology functions.
  • Technical and Business Acumen: Technical savvy with a deep understanding of engineering development methodologies and emerging trends, and strong business acumen with the ability to align services and technology initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Language and Communication: Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
