Position Title: Supply Early Childhood Educators
Role Summary:
The Supply Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for stepping in for daily and extended assignments. This role involves working closely with classroom educators to facilitate a program that supports the holistic development of children, encompassing cognitive, physical, social, spiritual, and emotional growth.
Required Qualifications:
- A two-year diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized community college, along with relevant experience in childcare or educational environments;
- Active membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators;
- Familiarity with the Ministry of Education's full-day early learning kindergarten curriculum;
- Experience in designing and executing age-appropriate educational programs;
- Understanding of applicable legislation and relevant Board policies, including Administration of Medication and Special Services;
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with children, parents, colleagues, and the wider community;
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities;
- Proven knowledge of effective classroom management techniques;
- Preferred: At least one year of experience as an Early Childhood Educator in a childcare center or Early Learning Program; however, recent graduates are encouraged to apply;
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR.
