Senior Business Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Adecco Canada. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in championing work under the guidance of the IT Technology and Architecture Program in the PMO, working closely with team members to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Performance Management: Assess the performance of project teams to ensure targets and deadlines are met in a timely manner.
  • System Operations: Test and improve system operations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Product Design and Evaluation: Supervise the design of new products and evaluate sales patterns to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by communicating project results and expectations.
  • Project Analysis: Provide project analysis to senior management, producing required documentation, including business requirements, future state proposals, and UAT plans.
  • Business and Systems Requirements: Analyze and document business and systems requirements to inform system modifications and enhancements.
  • Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between business operations and IT professionals to gather business requirements for system modifications and implementation of strategies.
  • Meeting Management: Maintain logs for meeting minutes, schedules, project summaries, and updates.
  • Reporting: Create monthly reports on project performance, highlighting areas for improvement and providing recommendations.
  • Improvement Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Identify innovative ways to understand customer needs and increase customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, IT, or a related field.
  • Training and Certification: Business process modeling training-certification preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, with Microsoft Visio and Access skills a bonus.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, good communication skills, leadership skills, and problem-solving and analytical skills.
