British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is seeking a seasoned risk management leader to join its Corporate Risk & Audit department as a Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management. This role is a key part of the ERM function, responsible for administering the ERM program and supporting the Board and management in overseeing non-investment risks and their potential impact on the corporation's activities and strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, with experience in the investment and financial services sector. They will be able to quickly get up to speed on BCI's objectives, risks, strategies, and operations, and will be able to communicate risk-related information to a variety of audiences. The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative, creative, and commercially-minded relationship builder with strong critical thinking and leadership abilities.
The role is based in BCI's office in Victoria, BC, and offers a competitive total rewards package, including a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a defined benefit pension plan, and paid time off. The annualized base salary range for this role is CAD $120,000-$145,000.
