Job Summary

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs and goals.
  • Provide education and training to clients on topics such as safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities.
  • Support return-to-work programs by providing job coaching and accommodation recommendations.
  • Document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students as needed.
  • Network with stakeholders to promote Lifemark's OT programs.
Requirements
  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • 3-5 years of experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSIB referrals is an asset.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
