Position Overview:
As a vital member of the marketing team, the Marketing and Community Events Coordinator plays a key role in developing, executing, and supporting various marketing strategies and community events for Federated Co-operatives Limited.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to design and implement effective marketing initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate requests for donations while serving as a representative of the brand at community events throughout the region.
- Develop engaging marketing materials and oversee social media campaigns to enhance community engagement.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong administrative capabilities with proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in curating content for social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities.
- Creative mindset with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage urgent timelines.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license.
- Availability for full-time work, including some evenings and weekends.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or a related field is preferred.
