About the Role

The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics (AME E) is a key member of our Maintenance team, responsible for performing day-to-day Avionics equipment testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibrations. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Avionics equipment testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibrations within a budgeted timeframe.
  • Provide technical assistance or guidance to the crew.
  • Communicate task completion to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  • Promote company values, vision, and mission.
  • Operate various Avionics test equipment, including air data test sets, navigation, indication, and recording systems, pneumatic, and autopilot systems.
  • Document and report all work performed on a routine basis.
  • Sign worksheets and work cards for completed work.
Requirements
  • Transport Canada Certified AME-E License required.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Integrity, ingenuity, and assertiveness in task performance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with good quality workmanship.
  • Employee expected to work towards obtaining an ACA.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field is required.
  • Experience on Dash 8 and CRJ is an asset.
