We are on the lookout for a Quality Test Developer II to join our esteemed test automation division. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in upholding the quality benchmarks for our products and modules. Your expertise will contribute to the development of reusable frameworks and enhance our internal test automation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards, providing an outstanding user experience for our customers.
  • Participate in daily agile ceremonies, collaborate on innovative ideas that challenge existing norms, and implement effective solutions.
  • Report directly to the test automation lead, engaging frequently with developers, quality specialists, and product managers.
  • Advocate for superior code quality and ownership, while contributing to the overall health of our infrastructure.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with your team, always striving for improvement and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in developing automated test scripts using Python, TypeScript, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks for both Back End and Front End applications.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN, GIT, Mercurial, or Bazaar.
  • Strong background in web automation, with expertise in frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright, and a solid understanding of web technologies including HTTP, REST, and JSON.
  • Experience in API testing using tools like PostMan.
  • Professional experience with MacOS, Bash, and MySQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity, Buddy, Bamboo, or CircleCI.
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment in test planning, issue escalation, and release decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in testing complex database systems.
  • Familiarity with mobile application testing.
  • Hands-on experience with scalability, performance, and load testing of cloud-based systems.
  • Knowledge of payment processing systems.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and tools (Google Cloud, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, Storybook, or Enzyme.
  • Understanding of Payments and Retail terminology and concepts.
