About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Slice Labs. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital insurance products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Execute Test Plans: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.
  • Manual Testing and Automation: Perform manual testing and automation of our software applications to identify and report defects.
  • Test Data Management: Create and manage test data to support testing efforts.
  • Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts and ensure that testing is integrated into the development process.
  • Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce manual testing efforts and improve testing efficiency.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and report defects to development teams for resolution.
  • Test Environment Management: Manage and maintain test environments to ensure that testing is conducted in a controlled and repeatable manner.
  • Training and Mentoring: Train and mentor junior team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related field.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and testing.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, or Appium.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with development teams and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
