Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Errinrung in Thornbury, ON.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality care to our residents. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that resident care is provided with established nursing standards and principles, physicians' orders, and other administrative policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor residents, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Manage and evaluate the work of nursing and personal care staff, including orientations and supervisory duties.
- Monitor performance, conduct performance appraisals, and refer problems to the Director of Care.
- Provide direction to the nursing department in the absence of the Director of Care.
Requirements:
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Registered/eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care is an asset.
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
