Nurse Practitioner Assistant

At Southbridge Care Homes, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our team.
About the Role:We are looking for a skilled and caring RPN to provide exceptional resident care while following protocols and maintaining physicians' orders.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the highest level of care is provided to residents while adhering to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions of residents, and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Organize and direct functions and activities related to the provision of care to residents.
- Assist in the management of nursing and personal care staff.
- Train and develop new staff members, referring concerns to the Director of Care.
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset but not required.
- A passion for caring for seniors and a serving heart.
- Registration/eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care is an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks in order of urgency.
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills.
- Ability to develop creative problem-solving skills to look at the big picture.
