YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY
As a vital member of the Maintenance Mill Department, reporting directly to the Planning Supervisor, you will implement best practices in maintenance, focusing on both preventive and corrective strategies. Your role will bridge the gap between planning and execution, ensuring that objectives are met while upholding Agnico Eagle's core values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate, assess, and update standard maintenance protocols and preventive maintenance initiatives;
- Identify essential spare parts and manage onsite inventory in collaboration with the Supply Chain;
- Create comprehensive job plans detailing necessary resources, services, tools, equipment, materials, and estimated durations for task completion;
- Design and implement maintenance schedules for both preventive and corrective tasks;
- Oversee material reception and kitting processes;
- Manage work order workflow and backlog effectively;
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, maintenance activities, and documentation;
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Planning Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or industrial disciplines;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance sector;
- At least 2 years of experience with computerized maintenance management systems;
- Experience in process plant maintenance or mining, with familiarity in JD Edwards being advantageous;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Please note that the primary working language at Agnico Eagle is English.
