Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at McInnis Group (1993) Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Building Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of our facilities. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Performing safety and security checks
  • Conducting minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contacting contractors for major repairs
  • Performing other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Cleaning snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of power tools and equipment
  • WHMIS and First Aid Certificates
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The working language is English.
