We are seeking a skilled Roofing Assistant to join our team at Platinum Roofing Corporation. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist in various aspects of roofing and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
- Construction Support: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
- Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
- Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites and work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.
- Work Conditions: Physically demanding work environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination are essential.
- Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) is required.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential.
- Green Job: This role involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
