About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Software Development Manager to join our Wireless Technology and Ecosystems group at Apple Inc. As a key member of our Secure Element team, you will be responsible for managing a team of software developers to architect, design, and develop new features for Apple products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of software developers to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development from conception to execution
  • Develop and implement software development strategies to meet business objectives
  • Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of software projects
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a lead or management role in software development
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
  • Strong technical skills in software development, including experience with Java, Python, and C++
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with firmware level debugging
  • Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms (RSA, ECC, AES, etc.)
  • Experience with object-oriented languages
  • Exposure to Swift, Objective-C, iOS, and MacOS
