Your Opportunity:

As a Mental Health Clinician with Alberta Health Services, you will be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team at the Community Addiction and Mental Health Clinic (CAMHC) – South Services. In this role, you will provide assessment and targeted time-limited goal-focused therapy for clients with moderate to severe mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intake, clinical interviews, and screening of clients with addiction and mental health disorders
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including other team members, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in program planning, development, and provide supervision to practicum students
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing with relevant training and experience
  • Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, training in goal-focused episodic care, and knowledge of DSM 5, medical co-morbidities, and psychotropic medications
