Job Summary

Ignite Talent Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Criminal Defense Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough legal research, analyzing complex case facts, and preparing high-quality legal documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support defense strategies
  • Prepare and present persuasive legal arguments and written submissions
  • Represent clients in court and handle legal proceedings with professionalism and expertise
  • Collaborate with the legal team to develop and implement effective defense strategies
  • Provide exceptional client service and communication

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Canadian criminal law, including DUI, assault, drug offenses, and traffic offenses
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare persuasive legal arguments and written submissions
  • Experience representing clients in court and handling legal proceedings
  • J.D. or LL.B. degree from an accredited law school and membership with the Law Society of Ontario
