About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Lawyer to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal services to our clients in the insurance defense sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in insurance defense matters, including litigation and negotiation
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to develop effective defense strategies
  • Collaborate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers to resolve claims
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in insurance defense law
  • Hybrid or remote work arrangement
  • Low billable hours
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Barred in Ontario
