Procurement Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Procurement Lead to join our team at Aecon Concessions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the procurement function and ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our business objectives and ensure the effective management of our supply chain.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve our procurement processes to ensure they are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and other functional teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Contract Management: Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring that they meet our business needs and are compliant with our procurement policies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in a senior procurement role, preferably in a major project-based construction environment.
- Skills: Proven track record of driving a top-tier strategic procurement philosophy, experience with implementation complexities in a large, diverse operating structure, and knowledge of current and emerging industry trends.
