Role Overview: We are in search of a new Senior Financial Analyst to join the Global FP&A team, specifically focusing on the product division. The FP&A department is divided into two segments: corporate and product. This role is dedicated to the product team, providing financial planning and analysis for hardware offerings. You will report to a supportive Manager who is committed to mentoring high-potential candidates, who in turn reports to the Senior Director of Global FP&A.

This position encompasses a well-rounded blend of traditional FP&A responsibilities and strategic, ad hoc FP&A tasks. The traditional aspect includes period-end activities such as analyzing actuals versus forecasts, conducting variance analysis on revenues, costs, and gross margins, and monitoring budgets against plans. The strategic component involves collaborating on initiatives like product launches, product phase-outs, performance evaluations, revenue forecasting, and business case development. You will also present your findings and recommendations to various stakeholders, including both finance and non-finance personnel.

Candidate Profile: We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis. A relevant finance or accounting designation such as CA, CPA, CMA, or CFA is highly desirable. While experience in the technology sector and collaboration with product management is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for a motivated individual eager to embrace challenges in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced Excel skills, capable of developing financial models from the ground up. You should demonstrate a clear, professional communication style and be confident in presenting financial insights to diverse audiences. The ability to articulate the narrative behind the numbers is essential for success in this role.

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience in a global or public company is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or JD Edwards is beneficial.
  • Experience in the fast-evolving technology sector is an asset.
  • Multilingual abilities are advantageous, given the company's international operations.
