We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at TD Asset Management. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and deploying scalable models and data products to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with portfolio managers, sales, technology, operations, and senior management to guide their decision-making process using ML and AI solutions.
- Own the deployment, maintenance, and support for scalable models and data products.
- Identify and own projects that solve complex problems across multiple domains.
- Apply specialized skills and fundamental data science methods to develop solutions that improve business decisions.
- Contribute to the technical vision and ML strategy for delivering, deploying, and supporting scalable user-facing ML and Gen-AI tools.
- 3+ years of commercial experience in a data science role solving, owning, and maintaining ML and AI solutions.
- Experience working with Python for data manipulation, model development, and deployment.
- Experience in software engineering best practices and tools including object-oriented programming, git, shell scripting, and task orchestration.
- Experience using cloud solutions for application.
- Hybrid work arrangement with 2-3 days in the office per week.
