Job Summary:
The Relief Pharmacist will provide clinical services and support to customers, medical practitioners, and other retail pharmacies. This role requires a strong focus on patient care, customer service, and workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical services, including disease state management, medication reviews, and health risk assessments.
- Prioritize technical functions and delegate tasks to Pharmacy Assistants when available.
- Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient information.
- Coach pharmacy students and Pharmacy Assistants.
- Collect and analyze patient, drug, and disease information.
- Identify and address actual and potential drug-related problems.
- Monitor medication adherence and provide patient counseling.
- Exceed customer expectations through efficient workflow and exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility.
- Injection Certification.
- Previous experience in a retail and/or retail pharmacy setting preferred.
Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is $55.00, plus $2.00 premium. We will consider factors such as working location, work experience, and skills to ensure fair and competitive compensation.
