Job Title: Senior Software Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Architect to join our team at Bronson Technical Search. As a key member of our Research and Development (R&D) team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our products and architecting solutions that address today's challenges and anticipate tomorrow's hurdles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-level learning systems to support cutting-edge training products for defense and aerospace clients.
  • Architect robust, scalable systems capable of managing high data volumes and concurrent users.
  • Design and implement interoperable microservices architecture to facilitate seamless integration with existing and future systems.
  • Enforce standards for data exchange and communication protocols to ensure interoperability across different components.
  • Implement rigorous security measures throughout the software development lifecycle to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate cybersecurity threats.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring system adherence to relevant standards and certifications.
  • Contribute to the technical roadmap, aligning architectural decisions with business objectives, and providing strategic guidance for software platform and infrastructure evolution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years' software development experience, including at least 2 years in an architect role.
  • Proficiency in designing scalable cloud architectures, utilizing services such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Familiarity with various technologies such as Ruby on Rails, C#, C++, and Python.
  • In-depth knowledge of data and database design.
  • Someone who designs systems from a user perspective.

Security Clearance:

All candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain Government of Canada security clearance.
