About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Senior Spirit of Roselle Park. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and building core backend microservices to power our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex backend systems, including large event-driven systems, user permissions systems, and graph variant permissions systems.
- Develop and maintain reliable internal services for usage-based billing infrastructure, GraphQL-based permissions, platform CLI tools, and other critical systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to drive the direction of our internal and external products.
- Lead projects and bring other team members along with you to solve complex problems.
- Work with our exciting tech stack, including GraphQL, TypeScript, Kotlin, Rust, Postgres, Kubernetes, Druid, and Kafka.
- Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to the overall success of our team.
About You
We are looking for a seasoned backend developer who has experience working on distributed systems at scale. You should be comfortable implementing complicated and performant microservices from the ground up. You should also be passionate about building foundational systems, evolving core data models, and event-driven architectures.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $144,500 - $182,750 per year, as well as equity and benefits.
