About the Role

Village Auto Tech is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshoot equipment to identify faults and areas for improvement.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Utilize advanced testing equipment to diagnose issues and determine the root cause of problems.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacements of defective parts to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Conduct thorough testing to ensure equipment meets performance standards and is safe for operation.
  • Maintenance and Repair of Heavy Trucks and Attachments: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks and attachments to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Develop and maintain expertise in mechanical transmissions and hydraulic systems to provide exceptional service and support.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree or certificate required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Job Type: Permanent.
  • Language: English.
  • Weekly Hours: 40.
