About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Communications and Advocacy to join our team at BCAA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our communications strategy and implementing initiatives that drive business results and enhance our reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with our business objectives and enhances our reputation
  • Lead a dynamic team of communications professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government, and industry partners
  • Develop and implement effective risk management communication plans to safeguard our brand and reputation
  • Manage and analyze budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and optimize business outcomes
  • Support and grow your team by providing regular feedback, coaching, and recognition, while also managing hiring, training, and career development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • At least 5-7 years' experience in a senior marketing, communications, business intelligence, or community leadership position
  • Experience in creating business strategies that blend short- and long-term goals with social impact objectives and ways to measure success
  • Experience in developing and producing advertising campaigns, with a strong grasp of digital and social media channels
  • Demonstrated experience working at a senior level to ensure good corporate citizenship
